Design and Selection Process

What to expect from our design team.

Building and designing your dream home is a process that you will remember for the rest of your life. After you have signed a purchase agreement, the next step is picking out selections for your home!

1) Gathering Information - After going under contract, you will be contacted by our design department to schedule your interior selections meeting. This will happen after we announce the official start of construction on your building! Prior to your selections meeting you will recieve our options and upgrades sheet for you to review. This will contain any and all available additions you can make to your future home.

2) Preparing For & Making Selections -The best way to prepare yourself for selections is by touring our models. Many of our models have similar finishes across other communities, so be sure to ask your community’s New Home Specialist what other models you can tour. During the selections meeting, you and your Design Coordinator will make all interior selections - from flooring to cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and hard surfaces. Countertops and cabinets are a la carte and part of the design packages.

3) Finalizing Your Home -Our design center has a variety of physical samples for you to utilize during your meeting. You are given 30 days from your building’s start of construction to schedule, select, and finalize all materials and additions for your home. Your Design Coordinator will help you stay on top of deadlines for selections. After submitting and finalizing your selections, your New Home Specialist will be your point of contact throughout the construction process!
