Rock the Block Basement Review

Episode 4 may have been all about the basement, but it brought a higher level of energy!

The teams went to another level this week and worked on the expansive basement. With 1,500 square feet to work with, the basements were a massive undertaking. The HGTV stars encapsulated their unique style perfectly in these spaces. HGTV's Alison Victoria of Windy City Rehab and Veronica Valencia were tasked with the difficult job of selecting this week's winner.

Kristina Crestin and Jonathan Knight had something for everyone in their winning lower level that raised the bar! Complete with a billiards room with dart boards, a bunk room fit for any guest, a full bathroom, barcade, pet nook, and living room, this basement brought it all!

Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle created a space perfect for an afterparty. A luxurious living room complete with wine racks, a second kitchen, half bath, and a stunning speakeasy made this a basement of the highest class. 

Sarah and Bryan Baeumler crafted a high-end spa escape perfect for any health and wellness enthusiast. A beautiful living room with a wellness bar and a built-in kid's nook introduced the level. But after that came an in-home spa with a gym, sauna, massage tables, and an incredible soaking tub.

Page Turner and Mitch Glew's basement is just plain fun! A stunning third kitchen with swings in the place of barstools made for a whimsical entertainment space. A kid's area with a slide and a golf simulator room kept the fun going!
